Gasoline, diesel prices rise rapidly

The price of oil increased by 1500 yuan per ton.

Starting from July 1, the national sales electricity price will be increased by 2.5 cents per kilowatt hour on average. The prices of liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas shall not be adjusted.

The National Development and Reform Commission pointed out that in the recent period, oil prices in the international market have continued to rise substantially, especially since mid-February this year. The contradiction between the price of domestic refined oil and crude oil has intensified, and the processing and import losses of enterprises are serious. Most local refineries are in a state of suspension or semi-stop production, and the contradiction between supply and demand is prominent. In order to gradually straighten out the price relationship, ensure the domestic supply of refined oil, and promote the conservation of oil resources, it was decided to appropriately increase the price of refined oil.

The National Development and Reform Commission stated that in order to reduce the impact of price adjustments on people's lives and control the chain reaction of price adjustments, the following comprehensive supporting measures have been adopted for the increased expenditure on refined oil price adjustments: (1) For grain farmers, fisheries (including ocean fisheries), Financial subsidies for forestry. Among them, for grain farmers, on the basis of the comprehensive direct subsidy for agricultural materials that has been increased this year, the financial subsidy per mu will be increased by 5 yuan; the (II) will implement financial subsidies for urban public transport and rural road passenger transport (including inter-island and rural waterway passenger transport), and the transportation price will not increase; it is (III) that starting from July, the urban subsistence allowance population will be increased by 15 yuan per person per month, and the rural area by 10 yuan. (IV) the impact of refined oil price adjustment on the taxi industry, by increasing financial subsidies and further cleaning up the unreasonable burden, the price will not be adjusted for the time being; the price of (V) liquefied gas, natural gas and railway passenger transport will not be adjusted. The central government will allocate the subsidy funds to all localities on the same day.

At the same time, the development and Reform Commission has made it clear that the electricity price adjustment will not adjust the electricity prices of urban and rural residents, agriculture and chemical fertilizer production, and the electricity prices of counties (cities) seriously affected by earthquake disasters in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces will not be adjusted.

The National Development and Reform Commission also pointed out that the current coal price level is relatively high. In order to prevent coal and electricity prices from rising in turn, temporary price intervention measures will be implemented for coal for power generation nationwide from now until December 31, 2008. During the temporary price intervention period, the mine price of coal for power generation by coal production enterprises nationwide shall not exceed the actual settlement price on June 19, 2008.

The National Development and Reform Commission requires relevant oil, power, and coal companies to strictly implement national price policies, strengthen production and transportation, and ensure market supply. The price authorities at all levels must take a variety of measures to strictly control the impact of refined oil and electricity price adjustments on the market, strengthen the supervision and inspection of the implementation of refined oil, coal, and electricity prices and market prices, and prevent hitchhiking prices; severely crack down on non-implementation The national price policy, as well as the spreading of rumors, hoarding and other behaviors that disrupt the market price order, maintain market stability.
